Dear Valued Partners, Friends and Supporters of Serendipity Healthcare Foundation,

As the vibrant celebrations of the Eid festival concluded and schools buzzed back to life, our team at Serendipity Healthcare Foundation was reminded of the profound power of community and opportunity.

Thanks to your unwavering support, we didn't just resume our mission—we expanded it. During our community assessments, we identified five additional indigent young boys who have lost their parents and were facing the harsh reality of being left behind. We knew we couldn't look away.

Because of your generosity, we wrapped our arms around them, bringing our total number of beneficiaries to 25 bright, resilient pupils (20 girls and 5 boys) across Flourish Primary School Academy and Tofa Town Community Schools within the Fagge and Tofa Local Government Councils.

Our Milestone Achievements: Empowering Tomorrow's Leaders

Kano state currently ranks among the top five regions with the highest number of out-of-school children. Together, we are changing that narrative, one child at a time. Here is the incredible impact you made possible this season:

  • 25 Life-Changing Scholarships: We have fully funded the tuition for these 25 primary school students. More than a one-time gift, this is a long-term commitment that will safeguard their education for the next 9 sessions, ensuring a smooth, uninterrupted transition all the way to secondary school. You have effectively removed the financial barriers standing between these children and their dreams.
  • The Tools for Success: We procured, branded, and distributed 25 high-quality school bags packed with essential learning materials. Distributed right after the Eid celebrations, these bags are so much more than fabric and zippers—they are symbols of dignity, belonging, and a daily reminder to these children that someone believes in their potential.

A Visual Glimpse of Joy: Attached to this report, please find photographs capturing the moment of distribution. The smiles on their faces and the pride in their eyes say it all: they are ready to conquer the world.

Looking Forward: Our Shared Journey

This work is beautiful, but it is far from finished. The reality in Northern Nigeria means that for every child we put in a classroom, many more are still waiting at the door.

We are deeply grateful for your patience, your deep compassion, and your profound belief in the transformative power of education. You are not just funding a project; you are co-authoring the success stories of Kano's future leaders.

How We Can Expand This Impact Together

As we look to the next quarter, we invite you to stay deeply connected to this journey. To help us sustain and scale this vital work, consider:

  1. Renewing Your Commitment: Partnering with us for our upcoming school healthcare and nutrition drives to ensure these 25 pupils remain healthy and focused in class.
  2. Sharing the Story: Advocating for our mission by sharing this report with your network to help us sponsor the next cohort of out-of-school children.

Thank you for standing with us.

With deepest gratitude,

Samirah Faruk
