Dear Family, Friends and Supporters of Serendipity,
In our quest to ensure that our girls stay in school and complete their education through the provision of writing materials, school laboratory equipments, teacher curriculum and school furnitures, we have gone one step forward to include scholarships for the most indigent girls in our adopted school
Schools are out for the holidays but prior to the holidays we did a household survey on the girls in senior high in our adopted school, Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Tarauni and 50% of the 30 households survyed we gathered data that showed that they would not write their final exams because of difficulty in paying the fees of West African Examination Council and National Examination Council which is a prerequiste to gaining entry to tertiary institutions.
In solving this problem, we were able to provide these funds for five of these girls and hope to do more and meet the deadline of payment for the remaining fifteen by the time school resumes next month of May.
With your kind generous donations our girls can continue with their education thus with this we say a huge Thank you!!!
