Now we can have our girls as scientist

Dear Supporters, Friends and Family of Serendipity,

Government Girls Secondary School Tarauni now can breathe a breath of fresh air all because you care!!! Prior to now, they were not conducting science classes in their school and our girls must go to a boy’s school nearby to take their exams which are dry practical because they have never learnt to conduct full practical in their school.

The school has never been accredited on the science aspect of education hence leaving a lot of our girls without the knowledge of science and technology only in arts and social sciences. All of this has changed now with your kind donation, science materials have been provided for the school and now the school laboratory is equipped to handle full practical.

Schools are out for the holidays and the principal has promised to apply for accreditation from the two education bodies, West African Examination Council and National Education Council so that by the coming year our girls can comfortably seat for their final science examinations safely without going to a boy’s school to do the examinations.
