The need behind $5 to Keep a Girl in School remains urgent, even though donations to this project have been limited so far.
Rising costs for feminine hygiene products are making it harder for families and schools to support girls during their menstrual cycles. To respond responsibly, Genanaw Foundation is working with Days for Girls International to focus on high-quality, reusable menstrual kits that last for years and offer better value than disposable products.
This approach helps us stretch scarce resources while protecting girls’ health, dignity, and school attendance. We are continuing to plan with local schools so we are ready to act as soon as funding becomes available.
Even with limited donations, our commitment to keeping girls in school has not changed. We are preparing carefully so every future contribution can make a real and lasting difference.
