Jonah’s health has been steadily deteriorating since he started sniffing glue. Before he started he was unemployed, now he’s unemployable. He can’t sustain physical or mental effort for any length of time and until last week he didn’t seem to care.
Thursday afternoon, Jonah’s careless decisions caught up with him. Without warning, he collapsed. His friends couldn’t help him, diagnosis and medicines are expensive. The only solution – take him to Njiwa. After initial diagnosis and treatment at Njiwa, he was transferred to Mama Lucy hospital where he received two pints of blood and an injection of Multi-vitamins. Dr Jotham at Njiwa will be monitoring his progress and encouraging Jonah on the path back to a healthy body, mind and spirit.
Your generous donations are helping Njiwa medical is on its way to meeting government requirements that will enable them help more kids like Jonah by offering more services and expanding their reach in the community. Our current project, re-surfacing the clinic’s deteriorating floor, will not only improve overall hygiene, it will show others that Njiwa is serious about health. Doctor Jotham's Clinic stands out from the crowd as a place where proper treatment comes first and profits come second.
Thanks to all our donors for your support. Many lives, just like Jonah’s have been changed or even saved because of your generosity.
