Financial, educational and nutritional constraints contribute to the dissipating of talent amongst young footballers, many of whom could excel if given the right support and opportunities. Karachi United inducts 50 select players at age of 8 & 9 years-old, handpicked from over 1700 young boys & girls from our various Community Programs into our elite Academy which is a 6-year journey designed to nurture & ultimately export talent.
Access to safe spaces and structured play programs are hard to find. Ideals such as disciplined, rigorous training and competition provide pathways to hard work, team work and leadership in communities where there is despondency about a lack of opportunities and the feeling of no way out of misery/current environment. Giving children an opportunity through structured sport provides an avenue towards excellence and gives hope to millions of children.
Karachi United offers its most talented 50 players, who are handpicked from the various Community Centres & the Youth Program Centres into the Academy. This is a specialized program designed to nurture world-class talent focusing on players' mental, physical & emotional development, led by Coach Imran Ali, UEFA "A" License. The focus of development is providing the athletes with formalized Education, Nutrition and Football Training under.
Academy graduates, footballers equipped as leaders with an understanding of social responsibility will motivate and transform the next generation of youngsters who see football as their natural career path. As these players start to make a living through football and represent Pakistan internationally (evidence already available), it will give hope and pull in many millions who will be incentivized to embrace sport, a healthy lifestyle and hard work helping us transform the fabric of society.
