Family sessions of creative workshops have been carried out, in which families generate a product to share through a video call to their migrant caregiver with topics that promote affective communication and parenting skills.
The planned activities included having migrant caregivers make a weekly video call, however due to their schedules and activities, this activity has been complicated and has not been carried out. It has been replaced by 2 or 3 minute videos that capture the best moments of the session, are edited and sent. And the caregivers have responded in a similar way, through audios or videos in which they express their feelings according to what their family sends them.
In the sessions, the results of the interviews, matrices and responses have been analyzed, and it is obtained as a result that in Santa Cruz Cuautomatitla there are possibilities of having the following projects:
• Marketing of flowers (Nursery, flower shop and / or cosmetology)
• Marketing of avocado
• Cooperative for the production and sale of medicinal herbs
• Cooperative for the collection and sale of recycled materials (includes environmental education program).
And in the Alpanocan community the possible projects can be:
• Cooperative for the production and marketing of avocado
• Fruit marketer
• Basketry
• Medicinal products
• Project to promote local musical groups.
And in the field work, the population will be invited to join the talks to see in which project there is an interested group.
In September, long distance stories were shared with boys and girls, but also in August a call was launched for a consultative exercise, the results of which we compiled in September; the exercise was about consulting them, how can we all take care of each other in this back to school? And the option of making a story, cartoon, drawing, testimony in video, audio or other format was left. A response was received from 71 boys and girls and with the materials, 9 collaborative video clips were made to share with the population.
