To support the underprivileged children and young people in Dandora, create a critical mass of young, talented, educated youth who can transform their lives, their families, their community, their country and the WORLD.
In 2016, Johanna Ochieng Omolo, a Kenyan professional footballer who has turned out for league clubs in Belgium, created Johanna Omolo Foundation to support the dreams and goals of deserving young people in Kenya. This is through making it possible for them to pursue quality education and sports.
Johanna believes that these programs are the best way to contribute to the betterment of the world since education and sports have been proven to be the most powerful weapon in the fight against poverty, despair and hopelessness. With Johanna Omolo Foundation's support and educational and sports opportunities thousands of young kids will have a positive changes in their social economic status.
In the future, we are looking to set up a comprehensive sports institute that will include a wide range of sports including soccer. We will develop sports teams and leagues for competitors of all levels and will offer lessons to the people of Dandora especially for those wishing to improve their skills. We will also offer skills in sports management.
