Two years after the beginning of the pandemic caused by Covid 19, the dining room of our Jenaro Aguirre school reopened its doors to receive its 400 students, offering them the snacks and balanced meals they were used to.

Throughout these two years, we never stopped feeding the children. We implemented a system for the delivery of bags to their homes, with healthy and balanced food. Thanks to the restart of in-person activities at Jenaro, our students now receive a nutritious mid-morning snack and a balanced lunch at the end of the school day. These two meals allow us to guarantee 50% of the daily nutritional requirements they need for their healthy physical development and optimal academic performance.

Without neglecting biosecurity measures, the kitchen staff prepares meals daily, monitoring the proper handling of food to ensure hygiene throughout the process.

One of the FMMLC's objectives is for children to acquire healthy eating habits through education. That is why for those of us who work at the Jenaro Aguirre School, the promotion and development of nutritional programs that manage to modify disordered eating habits plays a fundamental role; in this training work we also include the children's parents or guardians.  Our motto : "To educate and prevent is to cure in  health".

For all of us, seeing the excitement of our children when they meet their classmates again; feeling that the activity returns to our dining room, giving us the opportunity to serve them every day a delicious and healthy lunch at school, in short, witnessing their healthy physical and intellectual growth, fills us with enthusiasm to continue working for them and thus provide them with a promising future full of opportunities.
