CVC Charity's Back-to-School Campaign 2026-2027, "IT'S A COMEBACK - ," supports vulnerable and crisis-affected children in Lebanon to return to school with dignity and the essential resources they need. Support includes school bags, stationery, uniforms, learning materials, transportation and other education assistance, helping reduce financial barriers and prevent children from dropping out.
Many vulnerable and crisis-affected children in Lebanon are struggling to access and remain in school because their families cannot afford basic education-related costs. Rising poverty, displacement, conflict, damaged schools, transportation costs, learning loss, and food insecurity have created multiple barriers to education. CVC Charity's "IT'S A COMEBACK" Back-to-School Campaign will address the different barriers preventing vulnerable children from accessing and staying in education. The campaign will provide essential school supplies, learning materials, uniforms, transportation support, and scholarships for children most at risk of dropping out. Where funding allows, the campaign will also provide catch-up and retention activities, psychosocial support, teacher training, and improvements to safe and functional
By reducing financial, transportation, learning, and infrastructure barriers, the campaign will help vulnerable children remain in school, recover learning gaps, and improve their wellbeing. Over time, this can reduce dropout and strengthen children's resilience, opportunities, and ability to build a more stable future. The campaign's lessons and models can also support future scale-up across Lebanon.
