We are very delighted to report the successful progress of the initiative taken by ISKCON Varanasi for providing free food, education, and scholarships to youths of Varanasi.
As a part of this project, We have provided free accommodation facilities to 350+ youths, free food facilities to 3200+ youths. We have also been supporting meritorious and needy youths with scholarships, we have provided scholarships worth INR 20,00,000 in the last few years. Our software and skill training workshops have been attended by 1200+ students which helps them to build a successful career.
In the last quarter, 50+ youths have availed the free accommodation facilities, 100+ have been provided with free food facilities, and scholarships worth INR 3,50,000 have been awarded to needy students.
To help youths in this distressful situation of COVID we organized different online seminars on leaving healthy life, dealing with anxiety, and entrepreneurship & startups; where we invited experts from different fields to help students understand different aspects for leading a successful career which was attended by 200+ students from different colleges.
We also conducted online meditation sessions to help students increase their focus and reduce anxiety. These sessions have benefitted 200+ students in recent months.
We are very thankful to our donors, experts from different fields to join us, and volunteers who helped us to reach out and help more and more youths to shape their life and career.
