We provide emergency services as well as a variety of community services including youth work and care for the sick and the elderly. The Irish Red Cross voluntary ambulance service is active in communities across Ireland, providing support at community events and to the Emergency Services in times of need. There are a range of programmes providing support to vulnerable community groups. Overseas, Irish Red Cross has earned a distinctive reputation for the skill and commitment of our delegates.

Our services make a direct impact on communities every day helping elderly people to youth in Irish communities, working with prison inmates, integration of migrant families, as an auxiliary to the States Ambulance Service working during during extreme weather such as the Donegal floods and Storm Emma or during a major emergency, providing clean water,food and medicine to those in war torn Yemen and Syria to treating and preventing the spread of TB in India.
