Investing in the Future of Vulnerable Children

By MWANZA | Cordinator

Every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and build a better future, regardless of their family’s financial circumstances. Yet, for many vulnerable and neglected children in Kinshasa, the cost of school fees, uniforms, and learning materials remains a major obstacle to education. Without the right support, these children risk missing out on the opportunities that education can provide.

Through the Investing in the Future of Vulnerable Children project, the Association Congolaise Debout et Fier (ACDF) aims to support 80 vulnerable and neglected children by helping them access and remain in school. The project is currently in its preparatory and resource-mobilization phase. Our team is identifying the children who need support and organizing the next steps toward implementation. The total project budget is $9,850, and no funds have been raised toward this target so far. Our next priority is to mobilize the resources needed to begin providing school fees, uniforms, learning materials, and educational follow-up tailored to the children’s needs.

We are deeply grateful to GlobalGiving for providing a platform through which ACDF can connect with compassionate donors around the world. This partnership gives us an opportunity to share our mission, raise awareness, and mobilize the support needed to turn our plans into meaningful action. Although implementation has not yet begun, our commitment to these children remains strong. Every contribution, regardless of its size, can help bring us closer to our goal and give a child a better chance to learn and thrive.

We invite you to stand with us. Your donation can help remove the financial barriers that keep vulnerable children out of school and open the door to a future filled with greater hope and opportunity. Please consider supporting this project and sharing it with your friends, family, and networks. Together, with the support of GlobalGiving and our generous donors, we can work toward reaching our fundraising goal of $9,850 and helping all 80 children access the education they deserve.

Thank you to GlobalGiving and to every donor who believes that every child matters. Together, we can invest in their future, one child and one opportunity at a time.
