Thank you to everyone who backed this project. Your support showed how much the technicians who keep rural minigrids running across Africa deserve. Every one of them plays a vital part in keeping the lights on for families in remote villages.
We set out to bring selected trainees to the US for hands-on training. Despite our best efforts, we couldn't secure US study visas for them, so we've had to close the project. We are returning the funds raised to GlobalGiving.
We're grateful for your generosity. We'll keep investing in our teams through the training we run at our sites in Lesotho, Zambia and Benin, and you can follow that work through our Lesotho project.
Project reports on GlobalGiving are posted directly to globalgiving.org by Project Leaders as they are completed, generally every 3-4 months. To protect the integrity of these documents, GlobalGiving does not alter them; therefore you may find some language or formatting issues.
If you donate to this project or have donated to this project, you can receive an email when this project posts a report. You can also subscribe for reports without donating.
