In the month of December of 2017 we made our certification event in "Applied technology for the agricultural sector" to 25 coffee growers, and "ICT competencies for the professional development of teachers" to 20 teachers, all located in the municipality of Mesetas Meta.
For about three months, coffee growers and teachers received training in topics related to the use of applied technology in their agricultural and educational environment to improve their quality of life, that of their families and students.
This training process was been carried out in different districts of the municipality, which have access to the internet thanks to the development of this project. The training process was in charge of Engineer Yeiner Carvajal who has been supporting and accompanying the community.
Thanks to the donations received through GlobalGiving to our project "Internet and ICT for Coffee Growers in Colombia", we have been able to contribute to improve the quality of life of about 550 people who have been victims of the armed conflict in Colombia, through of processes of appropriation and training in technology.
Thank you for being part of this project and helping us provide development opportunities to more coffee families.
