Tuzha is a tiny town 550 miles from Moscow and 200 miles from the nearest town of Kirov. There are 100 children in the orphanage there. They can not get enough education. We provide free high-quality online education to many remote orphanages in Russia. We want to reach out to the Tuzha orphanage and help the children fulfill their dreams of educated future. High-speed internet line is provided there for free. What we need is an internet classroom: computers, headsets, web cameras.
Children in remote Russian orphanages often have insufficient education.Tuzha, being a tiny town far away from big towns, simply does not have enough resources to provide high-quality education to these children. Being undereducated, the children have huge problems after leaving the orphanage: they can not continue into higher education, find a decently paid job and their place in the society. This very often leads to tragic consequences for the children.
POCT already provides high quality education online for many remote orphanages in Russia for free using experienced high-quality teachers from all over the country and abroad. To start the educational process, an orphanage needs an access to high-speed internet and computer internet classroom, where children can come and connect with the teachers. High-speed internet is already provided (for free). Now we need to equip the classroom with computers, headsets, web-cameras and other staff.
The children will have better education, and, as our experience shows, will learn to enjoy learning process. After graduation they can enter colleges or universities, or vocational schools of their choice, find better jobs, live a better life.
