Outcomes of Comprehensive Support for Ukrainians

By Oleksandra Andreieva | Partnership Manager

Dear Friends,

In the hardest moments, when war disrupts lives and hope feels distant, your support makes it possible for Ukrainians to find strength again. Because of you, families can access not just immediate relief, but the tools to rebuild their lives with dignity.

Do you remember the feeling of being safe, cared for, and supported, even knowing that no matter how difficult the challenge, you weren’t alone? That is what your contribution brings to thousands of people across Ukraine today.

SpivDiia goes beyond traditional charity. We do not stop at one-off assistance as we offer integrated solutions that help people not only survive, but also regain resilience and self-sufficiency. We launched an integrated ecosystem of social services in four regions of Ukraine: Zhytomyr, Zaporizhzhia, Volyn, and Odesa.

As a result, 3,546 Ukrainians received support:

  • 2,114 people in the Odesa region accessed humanitarian aid;
  • 719 individuals received psychological and psychosocial support;
  • 546 people took part in career counselling (40% secured employment afterwards!);
  • 167 Ukrainians benefited from free legal aid.

Stories of Change in Legalese: Liudmyla’s Story

Liudmyla’s father, a serviceman, went missing in action. Lost and confused, she turned to SpivDiia’s legal team. Step by step, they explained the procedures, prepared the necessary documents, and guided her through the court process to confirm her father’s official status.

“For me, this was not just legal aid – it was genuine support during the hardest period of my life,” she shared.

Now, with the court decision in hand, her family can access the compensation they are entitled to.

Psychological Support: Olga’s Story

Olga, a 42-year-old mother of three from southern Ukraine, fled the war but had to leave her husband and relatives behind in the occupied territory. Overwhelmed by guilt, fear, and loneliness, she sought help from SpivDiia.

Step by step, one of our psychologists helped her stabilize her emotional state through breathing techniques, grounding exercises, and supportive conversations. Over time, Olga regained her confidence:

“For the first time in months, I feel calmer. I realise now that I’ve endured so much, and I am stronger than I thought.”

Later, she was referred to a career consultant, created a CV, and began applying for jobs. Today, Olga looks to the future with confidence:

“I feel like I can do anything.”

In 2025, your generosity enabled us to reach thousands of people across Ukraine. Each number represents a story of recovery, a step toward independence, and a reminder that hope is stronger than fear.

On behalf of every child, parent, and community you have touched — thank you. Your solidarity is more than charity. It is a partnership in rebuilding lives and futures.

Donate today and stand with us: Together for the resilience of Ukrainians.

 With gratitude,

The SpivDiia Team
