At La Casa de la Sal, A.C., we empower adolescents and young people with comprehensive sexual education. Through tools for self-care, awareness of sexual diversity, and emotional health support, we promote HIV and STI prevention. By answering their real questions, we help break stigma and discrimination, creating safer futures for youth.
In Mexico, HIV increasingly affects young people, especially women of reproductive age. Gender inequality, sexual violence, lack of access to health services, and economic dependence make them highly vulnerable. Many acquire HIV in stable relationships, facing stigma and limited support.
At La Casa de la Sal, A.C., we empower adolescents and youth with comprehensive sexual education. Through tools for self-care, awareness of sexual diversity, and emotional health support, we promote HIV and STI prevention. By answering their real questions, we help break stigma and discrimination, creating safer futures for youth.
With this project, we will reach 1,000-1,500 children, teenagers, and young people. They will gain tools to make informed, responsible decisions about their sexual health and relationships, becoming community leaders who replicate knowledge and reduce stigma. In the long term, this program strengthens families, promotes gender equality, and builds healthier, HIV-free futures.
