Integral Attention For At-Risk Mexican Children

At the PACO children's home, we continue to work in favor of the comprehensive development of children and adolescents in vulnerable situations. The efforts of the educational staff are reflected in the good school performance of the users of the children's home. Thanks to your help we were able to guarantee that 100% of the users are in a formal educational institution, 60 school strengthening sessions have been provided per user, 100% of the users have attended at least one workshop and we have 0% dropout and failure.
In the field of health, 100% of users have access to physical and dental health services 0 users have chronic diseases, 94% of users are in good nutritional health, more than 9,000 portions of food were provided during the last trimester.
This work is constant, and PACO needs your support to give continuity to our program and continue offering care to children in vulnerable situations, who live in our facilities and acquire more and more tools for independent living. Muchos éxitos para los niños y adolescentes de PACO.
En el hogar infantil PACO, continuamos con el trabajo a favor del desarrollo integral de los niños y adolescentes en situación de vulnerabilidad. Los esfuerzos del personal educativo se reflejan en el buen aprovechamiento escolar de los usuarios del hogar infantil. Gracias a tu ayuda pudimos garantizar que el 100% de los usuarios se encuentran en alguna institución de educación formal, se han brindado 60 sesiones de fortalecimiento escolar por usuario, 100% de los usuarios ha cursado por lo menos un taller y contamos con 0% de abandono escolar y reprobación.
En el ámbito de salud, el 100% de los usuarios tiene acceso a servicios de salud física y dental 0 usuarios presentan enfermedades crónicas, 94% de los usuarios se encuentra en buen estado de salud nutricional se brindaron más de 9,000 porciones de alimentos durante el ultimo trimestre.
Este trabajo es constante, y PACO necesita de tu apoyo para dar continuidad a nuestro programa y seguir ofreciendo atención a los niños en situación de vulnerabilidad, quienes viven en nuestras instalaciones y adquieren cada vez más herramientas para la vida independiente. At PACO, children and adolescents feel very well. As a result of our comprehensive care model, we have contributed to guaranteeing their comprehensive well-being. The model contemplates three dimensions of well-being, Biological, Psycho-emotional and Social with a Human Rights approach. In the first dimension, the children have received satisfactory health care through assessments, medical and dental consultations, and weight and height monitoring is also carried out to detect cases of malnutrition, underweight, overweight, and obesity. It is important to note that users receive adequate food three times a day plus two snacks. In the psycho-emotional part, they receive psychological and psychiatric therapies, and in the social part, each one of them receives training in one of our workshops (Carpentry, Blacksmithing, Crafts and Computing). In addition, 100% of users are enrolled in an official educational institution, and the dropout rate is 0. This is thanks to the PACO teachers, who provide school monitoring to the children and adolescents of PACO, through regularization of classes, homework support, supervision and academic support.

En PACO los niños y adolescentes se encuentran muy bien. Como resultado de nuestro modelo de atención integral, hemos contribuido a garantizar su bienestar integral. El modelo contempla tres dimensiones del bienestar, Bilógica, Psicoemocionlal y Social con un enfoque de Derechos Humanos. En la primera dimensión los niños han recibido satisfactoriamente cuidado a su salud mediante valoraciones, consultas médicas y dentales, también se lleva un monitoreo de peso y talla para detectar casos de desnutrición, bajo peso, sobrepeso y obesidad. Es importante señalar que los usuarios reciben alimentación adecuada tres veces al día más dos colaciones. En la parte psicoemocional, reciben terapias psicológicas y psiquiátricas, y en la social, cada uno de ellos recibe capacitación en alguno de nuestros talleres (Carpintería, Herrería, Manualidades y Computo). Además, que el 100% de los usuarios está inscrito en alguna institución de educación oficial, y el índice de abandono escolar es de 0. Esto, es gracias a los profesores de PACO, quienes dan seguimiento escolar a los niños y adolescentes de PACO, mediante regularización de clases, apoyo en tareas, supervisión y acompañamiento académico.

Dear friend PACO, we hope you are well and enjoying good health. At PACO the activities continue and the children learn more every day. These dates are very important for them, since they are in exam season at their school, so that everything goes well, it is important that their mind and body are in perfect harmony. Our comprehensive model contemplates physical health through medical consultations and check-ups, healthy eating 3 times a day and sports activities; gymnastics, acrobatics and swimming, thanks to this today, we do not have cases of malnutrition or obesity among children from 3 to 18 years old, nor do we have cases of school dropout or failure. These achievements would not be possible without the support of committed people like you, who trust in the work of PACO and in the talent of children. We are convinced that today's children are the professionals of the future, people concerned about their surroundings and about others.
We hope that in this evaluation period the children obtain good grades, but most importantly that they have learned a lot to apply it in their daily lives. El cambio está en manos de todos.

Estimado amigo PACO, esperamos que te encuentres bien y gozando de buena salud. En PACO las actividades continúan y los niños aprenden cada día más. Estas fechas son muy importantes para ellos, ya que están en temporada de exámenes en su escuela, para que todo salga bien, es importante que su mente y su cuerpo estén en perfecta armonía. Nuestro modelo integral, contempla la salud física mediante consultas y revisiones médicas, alimentación saludable 3 veces al día y actividades deportivas; gimnasia, acrobacia y natación, gracias a ello hoy, no contamos con casos de desnutrición ni obesidad entre los niños de 3 a 18 años, tampoco contamos con casos de abandono escolar ni de reprobación. Estos logros no serían posibles sin el apoyo de personas comprometidas como tú, que confías en la labor de PACO y en el talento de los niños. Nosotros estamos convencidos que los niños de hoy son los profesionistas del futuro, personas preocupadas por sus entornos y por los demás.

Esperamos que en este periodo de evaluación los niños obtengan buenas calificaciones, pero lo más importante que hayan aprendido mucho para aplicarlo en su vida cotidiana. Thank you for your kindness in supporting the children of Hogar de PACO. Your donation helps guarantee quality services and care that allow them full human development!

During 2021 we had many challenges, but we also found the invaluable support of people like you who helped us get ahead, despite the pandemic we managed to continue the quality services and care that PACO children and adolescents receive. Thanks to this we have had many achievements and successes throughout the year;

In the food field, we ensured that the children of PACO had access to a balanced and quality diet, achieving 79,200 portions of food throughout the year. In the school environment, children and adolescents received 1,440 academic sessions and school reinforcement. In terms of health, 100% of the children had access to primary health services and to psychological and psychiatric therapies, in total more than 141 sessions of psychological therapy and 132 sessions of psychiatric therapy were provided. In the sports field, 489 sessions of sports, gymnastics and acrobatics were offered, and finally 605 workshop sessions were offered (Blacksmithing, Bakery, Carpentry, Crafts and Computing).

Durante el año 2021 tuvimos muchos desafíos, pero también encontramos el invaluable apoyo de personas como usted que nos ayudaron a salir adelante, a pesar de la pandemia logramos dar continuidad a los servicios y atenciones de calidad que reciben los niños y adolescentes de PACO. En el ámbito alimentario, logramos que los niños de PACO tuvieran acceso a una alimentación balanceada y de calidad, logrando 79200 porciones de alimentos en todo el año. En el ámbito escolar, los niños y adolescentes recibieron 1440 sesiones académicas y de reforzamiento escolar. En términos de salud, el 100% de los niños tuvo acceso a servicios de salud primaria y a terapias psicológicas y psiquiátricas, en total se brindaron más de 141 sesiones de terapia psicológica y 132 sesiones de terapia psiquiátrica. En el ámbito deportivo se brindaron 489 sesiones de deporte, gimnasia y acrobacia, y por último se brindaron 605 sesiones de talleres (Herrería, Panadería, Carpintería, Manualidades y Computo).

Promotion and Community Action, I.A.P. is an institution that, through its three programs, offers quality services to people in situations of vulnerability and social abandonment. Our priority program is Casa Hogar "Moscas Ley", with which we offer quality services to children and adolescents who have been victims of violence and social abandonment, that is, who do not have family, institutional or governmental ties that allow them to freely exercise their Fundamental Human Rights.

Our care model proposes a holistic vision of the comprehensive well-being of children and adolescents, we are convinced that correct human development depends on three dimensions, Biological, Psychology and Social, that is why our services are designed to attend these dimensions of children who they have been limited in their integral development and in the free exercise of their human rights.

To ensure that our interventions actually have a positive effect on the overall well-being of our users, we have a series of indicators and strategic lines that allow us to know and quantify the progress of our programs and projects, our areas of opportunity and actions of improvement, this guarantees that the services are of quality and cover the specific needs of the users, thus guaranteeing the restitution of their rights.

The Casa Hogar program is not only an assistance initiative, the care model has the conviction of providing users with tools for life that allow them to improve their living conditions by themselves, and giving them the possibility of applying what they have learned in the institution in their families and communities, breaking with the patterns of violence of which they were once victims. Promoción y Acción Comunitaria, I.A.P. es una institución que, mediante sus tres programas, ofrece servicios de calidad a personas en situación de vulnerabilidad y abandono social. Nuestro programa prioritario es Casa Hogar “Moscas Ley”, con el cual ofrecemos servicios de calidad a niños y adolescentes que han sido víctimas de violencia y abandono social, es decir, que no tienen vínculos familiares, institucionales o gubernamentales que les permitan ejercer libremente sus Derechos Humanos Fundamentales.

Nuestro modelo de atención plantea una visión holística del bienestar integral de niños y adolescentes, estamos convencidos de que el correcto desarrollo humano depende de tres dimensiones, Biológica, Psicología y Social, es por ello que nuestros servicios están diseñados para atender estas dimensiones de niños que han sido limitados en su desarrollo integral y en el libre ejercicio de sus derechos humanos.

Para asegurarnos de que en realidad nuestras intervenciones tienen un efecto positivo en el bienestar integral de nuestros usuarios, contamos con una serie de indicadores y líneas estratégicas que nos permiten conocer y cuantificar los avances de nuestros programas y proyectos, nuestras áreas de oportunidad y acciones de mejora, ello garantiza que los servicios sean de calidad y cubran las necesidades específicas de los usuarios permitiendo garantizar la restitución de sus derechos.

El programa de Casa Hogar, no solo es una iniciativa asistencial, el modelo de atención tiene la convicción de dotar a los usuarios de herramientas para la vida que les permita mejorar sus condiciones de vida por sí mismos, y dándoles la posibilidad de aplicar lo aprendido en la institución en sus familias y comunidades, rompiendo con los patrones de violencia de los que alguna vez fueron víctimas.
