Education and training in the realm of effective and efficient waste management is also a key focus for us.
Across South Africa, we noticed a lack of national attention to Solid Waste Management, a lack of training and education for anyone interested in fields relating to Waste Management, and the inability of both private and public bodies to work together on waste problems.
Our organisation promotes environmentally acceptable, cost effective, and appropriate waste management practices. We strive towards the protection of the environment and people of southern Africa from the adverse effects of poor waste management by supporting sustainable best practical environmental options. We contribute to the improvement of waste management standards, educations, and legislation, support international, national and regional trends in best environmental practices at low costs.
After 40 years of implementation, we have already seen great improvement in waste management and environmental safety practices, awareness, and education. There is still much work to be done, and the long-term impact of these projects will create a safer, cleaner, more sustainable environment for a communities to thrive in.
