Story / Update
Access to clean and safe water remains a critical challenge in many parts of Pakistan, particularly in underserved and remote communities. Recognizing the importance of water in promoting health, dignity, and equality, Alkhidmat Foundation organized a seminar to mark World Water Day.
The seminar brought together experts, community members, and stakeholders to discuss sustainable water management practices, the importance of water conservation, and innovative solutions to address water scarcity. The theme, “Where Water Flows, Equality Grows,” emphasized how access to clean water can reduce inequalities, improve health outcomes, and support community development.
Participants actively engaged in discussions about practical strategies for water sustainability, including rainwater harvesting, efficient water usage, and community-driven water projects. The event also highlighted Alkhidmat’s ongoing efforts in implementing water supply projects such as wells, hand pumps, and filtration systems in water-scarce areas.
