YoungArts is excited to kick off its 2025-26 season! Below is a report on some of the Fall 2025 programs at YoungArts.

YoungArts 2026 National Competition Opens
On July 22, YoungArts will open the application for its national arts competition, which invites literary, performing and visual artists ages 15-18 (or grades 10-12) to apply to receive access to a lifetime of creative and professional support.Submitting an application for the competition is often a monumental step foryoung artist because it's sometimes the first moment in their career they attest: “I am an artist.

This year’s competition will close on October 7th, and submissions will undergo a three-part adjudication process, after which we will be excited to announce the 2025-26 cohort of YoungArts award winners. These deserving artists will receive unrestricted cash awards as well as access to resources and programs to help develop their artistic careers. The highest scoring winners will also be invited to attend National YoungArts Week in Miami from January 5-11, 2026 for a seven days of intensive creative training program led by renowned guest artists.

In addition to teaching artists technical and professional skills, YoungArts provides these early career artists with confidence and encouragement to pursue their creative practices.

Campus Gallery Residencies
Aftera successful pilot season, YoungArts is expanding its gallery residency program to serve an increased number of local Miami artists. This fall, we are excited to invite four artists to our campus for a six-month (up from three months last yearresidency, culminating in studio tours during Miami Art Week. While in residency, the participating artists have unlimited time and space—a critical resource as costs for rent and resources continue to grow—to create new work and connect with the community. These residencies will continue in the winter and spring, engaging more artists in our community.

These meaningful programs would not be possible without the continued support of our donor community. Thank you! Your generosity enables us to support artists with affirmation, connections, and resources to help them build sustainable artistic careers.
