Two months from the official premiere of the Atrato film, SINFONÍA TRÓPICO would like to give you a status update.
The director Fernando Arias is busy editing video footage while the German musician and artist Robert Lippok is composing music and arranging sounds. After a first meeting in Berlin, they are now working in their respective studies. Charlotte Streck and Elizabeth Gallon Droste are in the meanwhile collecting information, designing the website and accompanying information.
The official premiere of Inside the Atrato will take place on the 17th of November at Museo Nacional in Bogota, hosted in the city’s former prison, an impressive historical building from 1840.
Thanks to your generous support, this event will be public, free of charge. Robert will play live during the screening. The project will be introduced by Dr. Brigitte Baptiste, the director of Colombia's renowned Humboldt Institute for biodiversity.
At the end of november we will give you the final report on the event.
