Tayo Fagbamigbe "Stay in School" Memorial Endowment A Permanent Legacy for Justice and Education Nigeria, children of incarcerated parents are among the most vulnerable and marginalized groups in society. When a parent is imprisoned, families often face sudden financial hardship, emotional trauma, social stigma, and disruption in children's education. Many of these children are forced out of school due to inability to pay school fees, purchase learning materials, or meet basic educational
In Nigeria, the incarceration of a breadwinner often leads to the immediate withdrawal of children from school. For the 90 children we have identified in Ilesa and Ile-Ife, the risk is not just missing a term, but losing their entire future. Short-term aid is not enough; these children need the security of knowing their education is guaranteed until they finish secondary school
This Endowment aims to raise the total capital required to see these children through to the completion of their secondary education. By providing for levies, uniforms, and books, we provide a stable foundation that allows them to focus on learning rather than survival. Our educational scholarship support will covers the following items: School levies, School Uniform, School Bags, notebooks and text books to the beneficiaries individually.
To ensure access to quality education and holistic support for children of convicted inmates, enabling them to remain in school and develop into confident, productive, and responsible citizens. Where more than 90 children will be beneficiary for the next 4 years and with the support of school level, school bag, notebooks, textbooks and school uniform yearly to them individually.
