Dear Donors and well wishers,

Last 3 months were very challenging and it was an equally exciting period for Swasti. We are glad to have moved ahead and reached closer to the milestones we have set for ourselves. The small steps taken continue to encourage us towards the goal we have set out for ourselves.

Our donors, well-wishers, partners and supporters have stood with us so far in our mission, and we hope they continue to do so. So, we would like to share the highlights with all:

With the generosity and support from a large number of donors from across the world, Swasti is glad to announce that so far, 28 children have benefitted or started getting benefitted from our efforts.

Here is the status as on April 25, 2016

1. Around 35 underprivileged children have been shortlisted for receiving scholarships and will receive the benefits shortly. This will allow them to continue their higher education (engineering, teaching, nursing, accountancy etc), which would have very challenging in the absence of any support
2. More than 200 children and youth have been identified for scholarship support from across 5 states of India

Our goals and milestones:

We hope to support all children who need it, every year. Our goal for the current year (2016-17) is to provide:

• Educational support for 500 children
• Support for vocational skill training and employment opportunities for at least 100 children.

We can be successful in fulfilling the dreams of these children with support from all our well wishers, supporters and partners.
