We have come a long way since we began this project. We are India’s children responds a crucial need of education of children of marginalised women who struggle in their daily lives risking themselves - their lives and their wellness- in the hope of having a better life for their children.
In July, we have, with your support and with Parinaam Foundation, disbursed higher education scholarships to 9 children amounting to USD 629 in 3 cities in Tamil Nadu, India - Salem, Theni and Dindigul. These children would have dropped out if not for you and lost the opportunity towards a better life. Today they have the opportunity to complete courses in B.Sc Physics, B.Com (CA), B.Sc Nursing, MCA & B.E. (ECE), etc.
There is a lot to be done yet. As the children themselves say, there are many years to go and there are many children like them who believe in their mothers’ dream - an education and a safer, better life.
You can make this happen. If you have already donated, THANK YOU!
If you have not, this is an opportunity for you to make a change in the life of a child empowering them to break out of the cycle of poverty and abuse. Please spread the word
