PROJECTS IMPLEMENTED: Increasing Access to Clean and Safe water at AHCM’s Home
UN sustainable development goal 6 asserts that accessibility to clean water for all is an essential part of the world we want to live in. At Another Hope Children’s Ministries, we would like to thank GlobalGiving and individual donors for the support towards the Underground Water tank construction. So far construction of the underground tank has been completed and we are left with guttering of the houses to tap the water and to have a drainage system that takes the water to the underground water tank. After all is done, a pump will be installed to pump the water to the tank that distributes to the houses. been done to slabbing level.
The different children had stories to tell of how they feel when the water is available all year throughout at the premises. However, the story of one child caught our attention, one of our children with physical disability when asked how she felt about access to clean and safe water, she narrated that, it will be a joy to know that you can have food in time and not to worry that there is no enough water to cook food. Your support has brought joy to the children at Another Hope Children’s home. Thanks so much and may the good Lord bless you abundantly
