PROJECTS IMPLEMENTED: Increasing Access to Clean and Safe water at AHCM’s Home
Reporting time: September 2017
Being a very remote area, the children at the Another Hope Children’s Home don’t have much access to clean and safe water. The well that was recently dug could only help get water during the rainy season and during the dry season it would dry out. Children and young adults could walk some distance to fetch water from a well that the entire three villages use. Sometimes we would have to drive more miles to get water when the community well could not offer much.
With an extra underground tank constructed, there would be hope of having clean and safe at water available all the time at the AHCM home. Your support is helping to have this hope restored and we are grateful for all you have given. The construction has started and progressing on very well. Now children will be assured of their time to be children, have clean and safe water in addition to improving their academics because they will not be spending time fetching water. God bless you for helping to see that this sis achieved at AHCM.
