n this year 2022, Nova as an inclusion school has greatly exceeded the period of social adaptation of regular students and also with special education students, it is more relevant to communicate that there has been a new behavioral improvement plan, since it is very The notorious attachment of most children to technology, cell phones, tablets and computers in most cases for games, what has delayed their development is the curriculum that is currently being developed.

Regarding the community, there is also a continuous cooperation of parents and representatives to resume the appropriate schedules and tasks, we have a team of teachers who are willing to support the change and develop the educational and social program in the best way with the planning activities to support their integral development.

We also want to communicate that we started a small fundraising campaign in support of Hearts of Gold through the GlobalGiving platform and that we are preparing an update of our data and goals on the platform, which after the Pandemic no longer corresponds to our needs.

We are very grateful friends of GlobalGiving, on this occasion we are pleased to inform you that the Nova School of Inclusion, continues working with the same commitment to maintain the Vision and Inclusive Educational and Social Mission that includes not only students, but also their families.

The school year 2021- 2022 was concluded, in a face-to-face manner and without difficulties, with very good results for the students, who upon returning completely to face-to-face education felt much more motivated and achieved their educational-academic recovery, which was not very appropriate virtually, also the results in the physical development, was an excellent achievement, as it fought the sedentary lifestyle that developed during the Pandemic by COVID-19.

At this moment we are finishing the enrollment period for students for the 2022-2023 academic year. And we are pleased to tell you that at least 70 of the 74 students from the previous year are already enrolled, which means that we can aspire to exceed the number for this period, which ensures our work for the good of the inclusive educational community in Cuenca and the Austro.

We are determined to undertake an "Important Fundraising Campaign", which hopefully will be the answer to make up for the economic deficit that we still have as a result of this world event, and that we will surely be able to overcome. We will soon share this news with you.

Thank you for your attention, Nova is more committed than ever.

To all of you, dear friends of GlobalGiving, we want to tell you that as before we made you aware of the need and importance of creating a website for NOVA, this is now a reality and that we are going to demonstrate it through our link that we will share in the GlobalGiving page, this undoubtedly becomes a great step for us because through it we will not only publicize the work we have been doing for many years, but also present new academic and social projects for the good of children with educational needs. and the support we provide to many of our beneficiary families.

In addition, this page will allow us to access important and necessary fundraising campaigns that you propose and others that are our own that will allow us to continue in this important social and academic work for our environment. This is why we are already preparing the first one and we want to present it probably for the first days of June.

THANK YOU FOR ALWAYS BEING ATTENTIVE TO OUR DEVELOPMENT AND FOR GIVING US ATTENTION.

Since February, 60% of Nova's students have been integrated in person and by this March we have 70 students, which is 100%.

Therefore, there is almost a full working day and we continue to maintain biosafety standards as part of our daily work.

We have not yet been able to have all the personnel that the institution requires, but this has not prevented us from working with the commitment that inclusive education requires and that is our identity at NOVA.

For this reason we are developing an important work in marketing the institution to reach more families that require this form of education.

We are determined to make a fundraising campaign a reality in order to finish this school year and prepare the institution in a better way for the next one, and we are even more in need of reactivating our web page, as an important tool for this campaign, and we hope to do it immediately.

In this new educational period that is taking place in Nova since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, it is importantnot only to reiterate the commitment to inclusive education, but to make it a true pillar of the academic and integral formation of our children and to participate in the family life of each student, as it was very difficult for parents and representatives to support their children in virtual classes – which left them in many cases without any help.

At Nova, Inclusion is not only the opportunity to learn, it is the central meaning of our existence, therefore, throughout these last 26 years, we have based our concepts of adaptations, discipline and social projections on the child and its family.

We are working with 72 students and approximately 68% of them are inclusion students; today more than ever Nova is working hard for a population group that needs us to be there and include them.

We are organising a series of activities so that these children can continue to count on a school that not only educates, but also trains them for a future of independence and autonomy. Starting in January, we will undertake a series of campaigns that support our objectives of inclusive education and training, for which we will make innovations in our presentation to those who are ready to support our children.
