Sahyadri Nisarga Mitra (SNM) team thanks donors for their valuable contribution and GlobalGiving for providing a platform to spread the word about our work and fundraising.
SNM conducted field surveys on 25th June at Choravane village. Camera traps are still deployed in the field for the study of faunal diversity.
We have faced a devastating flood on 21st & 22nd July which affected Chiplun city and adjacent villages. Our office, electrical equipment’s, Computers, Laptops, Projectors and vehicles got damaged. All the records and books got submerged.
We’ve resumed our office after the cleanup but It’ll take time to resume all project activities because we don’t have sufficient Trap cameras, computers, vehicles and other equipment. We are receiving help from our donors and well-wishers.
We are in contact with our local guides and will resume our ground activities by the end of September 2021.
