We pray everyone should stay safe and healthy in this pandemic situation and thankful for every donor who is contributing cause for the conservation of the species and biodiversity. Your support is inspiring us to work hard on ground in the field of Nature conservation.

In this Covid-19 pandemic situation the nation was under lockdown due to which many conservation field activities were not possible to complete.

  • To outreach mass awareness Khawlotsav (Pangolin festival) was celebrated in traditional and cultural form on 16th February 2020 on the occasion of World Pangolin Day at Dugve village in chiplun block of Ratnagiri District.
  • 16 Camera traps were deployed at new locations to document species distribution, ecology and behavior in the wild.
  • Camera trap data were retrieved.
  • 2 Sub Adult Pangolin released in wild in collaboration with forest department.
  • 1 Adult Pangolin was rescued by SNM team member from the society and released into the wild in collaboration with the forest department.
  • Digital outreach mass awareness through social media.
