Construction of girls’ latrine with 8 drop-holes (pits) and 1 special room with installed incinerator (total 9 drop-holes + incinerator). + Water Project with Installed water pump supplying water to 8 hygienic taps (hand washing facility) and 1 water point around the school compound.
This project intends to construct one (1) menstrual hygiene management room with an installed incinerator, one (1) girls' latrine with eight drop-holes, and one (1) water project with an installed electric water pump with hand wash facilities (eight hygienic taps) at Isalalo primary schools in the Mbozi District to promote good WASH practices in school settings. To ensure the success of the activity, the project persisted in encouraging community engagement and efficient school management throughout the execution phase.
