JAAN has been trying to help the carriage horses in Jakarta for over a year now. The donations received were used to fund veterinary assistance, medical supplies and horse shoes. We are very grateful to all those who donated to help these poor horses. Unfortunately, the horse owners are very uncooperative and have no interest in improving the welfare of their horses. Because of this, we will deactivate this program now and possibly start again in the future. Meanwhile, JAAN will continue to help carriage horses that have been hit by cars or have fallen down due to exhaustion or illness whenever we can.
