Everyone Deserves Healing
Humanity First Association Cameroon (HUFAC-CAMEROON) is grateful to all donors supporting Project #61462, “Help IDPs Heal in Cameroon,” on GlobalGiving. While our goal is $25,000 and we have raised $201, this support has already helped us begin providing psychosocial support, compassionate listening, community encouragement, mental health awareness, and referrals for internally displaced persons in distress. Every contribution has kept hope alive and reminded families they are not forgotten. We sincerely thank our donors, GlobalGiving, partners, volunteers, and supporters. The need is great, but so is our commitment: everyone deserves healing, dignity, hope, and a chance to rebuild.

Significant Improvement is Noticed.

The “Enhancing Mental Well-being for IDPs in Cameroon” project has recorded measurable progress since the last reporting period including:
1. Access to psychosocial support services increase by 42%.
2. Participation in group counseling sessions rose by 37%.
3. Individual therapy engagement improved by 29%
4. Severe stress symptoms decreased by 33%.
5. Youth engagement in recreational and peer-suport activities increased by 51%.
6. Community resilience indicators shows 46% gain with participants coping mechanism.
7. Feedback surveys reveal that 68% beneficiaries now feel more hopeful, up from 44% from the last assessment.
These outcomes highlight significant strides in promoting mental well-being among IDPs, while reinforcing the need to sustain and scale interventions to reach more vulnerable populations.

More Beneficiaries are Are Smiling Thanks to You.

More beneficiaries are now smiling thanks to your generous support for project number 61462 on the GlobalGiving platform. With the initial $200 raised towards our $25,000 goal, we have made significant strides in implementing mental health workshops and providing psychological support services tailored for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs). The recent accolade of winning the Project of the Month for May 2025, which brought an additional $10,000, has further propelled our efforts to increase access to mental health resources. This funding has allowed us to reach over 750 individuals from June to November 2025, facilitating group therapy isessions in community centers, and one-on-one counseling that promote resilience and healing within affected communities.
We are immensely grateful for your contributions, which have played a pivotal role in changing lives and fostering a sense of hope among IDPs in Cameroon. As we continue to make a positive impact, we invite you to extend your generosity further. With additional support, we can support our dedicated volunteers, expand our reach, enhance our programs, and ensure that even more beneficiaries experience the mental well-being they deserve.
