We have lately improved the administrative and financial processes (expenses, incomes, inventory, etc) by issuing and updating the procedures, in order to have greater operational efficiency
Recently the Ministry of Economy, Planning, and Development of the DR (MEPyD) published the 2025 Voluntary National Report and indicated that:
“The Dominican Republic reaffirms its commitment to the UN 2030 Agenda through an institutional and multisectoral process that has allowed for systematizing progress, identifying persistent gaps, and consolidating capacities to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)."
Our country continues to make progress toward achieving the SDGs. The report highlights the contributions of the Grupo Puntacana Foundation to achieving SDGs 10 (UN 2030 Agenda) through our project, we mean the Center for Disabled Children.
SDG 10 - Reduction of Inequalities
The Dominican Republic participated in the United Nations High-Level Political Forum (July 2025, New York) and presented the aforementioned Voluntary National Report.

We are very proud of this achievement, and you as a donor have contributed greatly to it.
There are still many needs to meet in terms of equipment; for example 1 electric treadmill for physical therapy, 1 medical software for the comprehensive management of the center, security cameras system, staff training and supplies, among others.
Given that it is the only center of its kind in the entire eastern region of the country and the demand of the population has been increasing, we hope to expand the facilities of the center in the near future.
We look forward to continue partnering with you in order to get these goals together
We will keep you informed about the progress of the project. If you have any comment, advice or question, please feel free to direct them to us and we will answer as best we can.
There is no way to fully express our gratitude for your support
Best wishes,
