This project aims to improve healthcare of 1200 children from western Uganda and Rejoice Africa Foundation is working in partnership Hana Low, RN, from Colorado USA who have been invited to give expertise in assisting the RAFUG in responding to harsh climate crisis and health gaps through helping teaching nutrition for the affected children, water sanitation techniques, improving routine immunization , basic first aid for adults and children, and giving family planning using women care groups.
There is lack of support of 60 women care groups with 1200 children without access to health due to increased climate change that favors the incubation and has factors that predisposes them to diseases like malaria, diarrheal and lack of access to family planning by women. Though Rejoice Africa Foundation is working to save next generation from climate crisis using women care groups model.
This project aims at improving health care for 1200 children from 60 women care groups through arranging Community outreaches, doing immunization, giving family planning, kitchen gardening, agroforestry Training health care workers and setting trainings on domestic hygiene for all women and 1200 children in western Uganda.
