Improve healthcare by opening medical clinic

The dream of the DYJEPREDHU ASBL Medical Clinic is moving forward, one step at a time. In eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo, many families continue to face serious barriers to safe, affordable healthcare. Our project was created to bring essential medical services closer to vulnerable communities and to provide a safe, inclusive place where mothers, children, and families can seek care with dignity. We are currently in the preparation and resource-mobilization phase, including the identification of qualified trainers, health professionals, and learners who will contribute to the project's capacity-building activities.

We want to be transparent with our supporters: we have not yet raised funds toward our US$100,000 goal. The clinic's construction, equipment, staffing, and initial operations depend on successful fundraising. Our collaboration with GlobalGiving gives this locally driven project an important opportunity to reach international donors and build the support needed to move from preparation to implementation.
