Incessant rains have wreaked havoc in the beautiful hill station of Wayanad, triggering deadly landslides that have claimed at least 70 lives and left countless families devastated. Hundreds are still missing, and disfigured bodies are being found in the rivers, adding to the panic and chaos. With homes and belongings lost, thousands are in desperate need of help.
The landslide in Wayanad, Kerala, caused by heavy rain, has claimed the lives of more than 300 people, with many others losing their homes. Search efforts are still ongoing to recover the bodies of the deceased.
In response to the disaster, this project will provide temporary relief by supplying essential materials to those affected.
This temporary support will provide immediate relief until they can find a long-term solution. Prime Trust will work closely with the community to identify sustainable solutions.
