"From the entrepreneurship training on iLEAD, I learned that it was important to identify gaps/problems to provide value to people. So, during my ICT training, I discovered the problem individuals and businesses had with paying for goods and services online, so I decided to launch a software - Etegram, to solve this problem.” Idem.
Idem (not real name), a 19-year-old iLEAD alumnus who has transformed his life through our leadership programme geared to support young people to transition successfully to post-secondary school, is an inspiring example of a teen's resilience and self-discipline. His inspiring journey serves as a good example of the transformative power of support and opportunity. Through a combination of leadership and entrepreneurial training, mentorship, and internship, Idem's entrepreneurial spirit was sparked, propelling him to launch a business that not only sustains him but also advances his community.
As a key component of the iLEAD programme, Idem was one of the students selected to intern at an ICT hub in Uyo, Akwa Ibom, and to his amazement, he met a lot of young programmers. And that opened up his path to discover the problem individuals and businesses in his community had with paying for goods and services online, so he decided to launch a software - Etegram, to solve this problem. With Etegram, Emem is providing fast, secure, and user-friendly payment solutions that enhance financial inclusion and promote economic growth for both individuals and businesses.
Together, we can create a lasting impact through your generous support. By supporting us, you will play a vital role in empowering countless individuals, such as Idem, as well as fresh graduates (NYSC Members) and teachers, to become catalysts for transformative change within their communities.
We invite you to join us on this incredible journey and turn our vision into reality.
Thank you.
