Report on Bhumi's Ignite+ Program: Building Safe Facilities for Girls

Bhumi’s Ignite+ program, committed to improving school infrastructure, addresses the urgent need for safe, hygienic facilities for girls in underserved communities. For the fiscal year 2024-25, with support from Oracle and funds raised through GlobalGiving, two toilets are being constructed to ensure these girls have access to essential sanitation.

The program's impact over recent years has been substantial: from 2021 to 2023, 19 units benefiting 760 children were completed. In 2023-24, 89 units for 3,027 children were completed, and in 2024-25, nine units serving 360 children have been finished, with 33 units for 1,280 children underway. Altogether, 150 units have been completed or are in progress, impacting 5,427 young lives across various communities.

Through Ignite+, Bhumi continues to empower and support girls' health, safety, and dignity in schools.
