The Iftar for Children project set out to raise $50,000 to provide nutritious meals for vulnerable children, and to date, $164 has been raised through the generosity of 3 donors. While the financial response has remained below the project target, the funds received were carefully managed to ensure that children still experienced care, nourishment, and dignity during the Ramadan period.
With the little amount raised, children from vulnerable households were shown love through meal support and community-centered feeding efforts. Though the scale of support was limited by available funding, every contribution translated into meaningful impact for children who would otherwise have broken their fast with inadequate nutrition.
Importantly, this initiative is not limited to Ramadan alone. The need for child nutrition and food support continues beyond the holy month, and the project remains committed to mobilizing resources to reach more children throughout the year. Continued support will help expand coverage, strengthen food access, and ensure more children receive the nourishment they need to grow, learn, and thrive.
