Menopause Support Initiative (MSI) - Project Report
Reporting Period: January to June 27th 2025
Community Growth and Engagement
Our community continues to expand significantly, demonstrating the critical need for menopause support in Nigeria. We now serve over 7,000 active members through our WhatsApp platform and have grown our Social media presence to nearly 80,000 followers. This organic growth reflects the trust and value our community provides to women navigating menopause.
Strategic Partnerships and Content Development
Media Partnership
We established a content partnership with Eagle on Air TV, producing specialized menopause education content twice weekly. This collaboration ensures consistent, expert-driven information reaches our community through multiple channels.
Corporate Partnership
In May 2025, we formed a strategic alliance with Agile Communications, one of Nigeria's leading marketing firms. This partnership positions MSI for enhanced visibility and expanded reach across Nigeria, enabling us to connect with more women who need menopause support and education.
Revenue Generation and Sustainability
We launched our monthly "Ask Me" webinar series, offering affordable access at $1 per session per person These sessions serve multiple purposes:
- Direct community Q&A with menopause experts
- Platform for supplement companies to engage with our audience
- Space for personal story sharing and peer support
To date, we've conducted 5 webinars with consistent attendance exceeding 250 participants, demonstrating strong community engagement and sustainable revenue potential.
World Menopause Day 2025 Initiative
We began strategic planning for our signature annual event in June 2025. This year's theme, "Know Your Pause," will feature a week-long program expanding beyond Lagos to include Abuja, Port Harcourt, Ogun, and Oyo states. This multi-state approach represents our largest outreach effort, requiring a project budget of approximately $66,000.
Organizational Development
We restructured our board of directors to enhance administrative efficiency and strategic support. This governance improvement ensures better oversight of our expanding operations and community impact initiatives.
Looking Forward
All current activities focus on executing our World Menopause Day celebration while continuing to serve our growing community. We actively seek additional partners to support our expanded reach and maximize impact across Nigeria's diverse regions.
