We are glad to inform you that we could buy a Ford mini van wide enough to host the lifting device and all necessary equipment to set and transport the wheel chair safely. We have collected about 20.400 euros thanks to the many initiatives organized locally from August to December 2021, involving up to 1.300 people in dinners, cocktails, games and other different events which proved emotionally poignant and could combined the organization's efforts with the love and generosity of those who participated and offered their contribution.
All events organized have had a great mass media effect as they were reported in newspapers, local TVs besides all socials which allowed us to reach a huge number of people.
In the meantime we are planning new initiatives to raise the sum needed to buy the lifting device.
Carmela and her family are well and look forward to using the van, all the more so since Covid-19 spread is decreasing and days are getting longer and warmer and Carmela has not gone out of her house for two years.
Hoping to be able to raise the due sum thus allowing Carmela to make her dream true, we thank all those who have believed in this.
