Summary

Hurricane Matthew, the most powerful Atlantic tropical storm in almost a decade, is bearing down on Haiti. The hurricane presents an unprecedented disaster for southern Haiti. It will leave famine and disease in its wake. VIDA USA is prepared to ship medical supplies and equipment shipment with our shipping partner Otis McAllister to benefit our partner St. Damien Hospital, a premier hospital in Haiti that provides all services free of charge.

Challenge

Damage to hospitals and thousands injured and exposed to polluted waters and potential disease.

Solution

Hundred's of thousands of donated medical supplies will replenish the destroyed hospitals and temporary clinics. We are seeking $15K in support to make several shipments into Haiti.

Long-Term Impact

These shipments will help doctors and nursescontinue saving lives while it takes time to rebuild damaged structures
