CFVI is proud to announce that we have supported Project Promise in establishing their own account on GlobalGiving, so this project will now be listed here: https://www.globalgiving.org/projects/help-hurricane-impacted-children-in-st-croix/
Now 7 months since the passing of Hurricane Maria, the Caterpillar Project continues to focus on bringing a sense of normalcy and consistency to its caterpillars. We are still operating out of a local business that has generously donated a space. Having lost our classroom and all it’s contents, we are still working to replace materials and identify a long-term location. Therefore, one of our primary goals for 2018 is to raise the necessary funds desperately needed to fix our building in downtown Christiansted that will serve as the permanent home for the Caterpillar Project and a community center for St. Croix. This permanent home will make a significant difference in the programming Project Promise will be able to provide as an organization. We are grateful for the outpouring of support from people near and far, and thank you again for your support. Check out our new project page to stay tuned and follow our progress!
