Trusted World is a non-profit designated to receive in-kind donations for Hurricane Harvey victims and is based in the Dallas area. Due to the incredible outpouring of love, Trusted World is working to lease a new 20,000 square foot warehouse and service center to house donated goods for Disaster Relief and community support efforts. Trusted World needs your help. Physical assets are in abundance, but funding is dearly needed.
Today, August 15, 2018, almost one year after Hurricane Harvey made landfall, Michael Garret, Trusted World CEO is back in the Houston area delivering airconditioning units to Bread of Life. Bread of Life has partnered with Trusted World to distribute these units on behalf of Trusted World. Bread of Life Mobile Tool Bank is currently assisting 137 Senior Citizen rebuild after the storm. Additional funding is still needed to continue to supply the community with the tools they need to rebuild
According to Disaster Response Agencies, it can take from 3 months to 3 years to recover from having your house flooded. Some people just lose their home, others work locally and lose both their homes and their job.Trusted World will provide resources well after the flood waters recede.
Even though Port Aransas has seen their fair share of construction over the past 12 months, many have yet to find an affordable place to live. Contributing to our relief efforts will directly impact the families struggling the most. Because Trusted World works directly with the agencies working on behalf of people in need, Trusted World knows who needs help and can provide the exact resources they need to rebuild.
