Fuel Relief Fund is responding to the devastating Category 4 Hurricane Harvey that hit the coast of TX, by providing free fuel. Due to current power outages and flooding there is a desperate need for fuel for vehicles and generators as well. Our organization Is providing this fuel. Free fuel is given to individuals so they can access resources such as food, water, and shelter.
Following Hurricane Harvey, a category 4 storm, there is a great need for gasoline and diesel fuel. Access to fuel is needed for emergency personnel (medical, police, and fire) to reach victims. Refineries are closed and gas stations are inaccessible. Forecasts estimate that 500,000 to 1,000,000 will lose power. Fuel will help power generators that will provide power for all those who are without. Those generators can provide lights, refrigeration, power cell phones and medical equipment.
The Fuel Relief Fund operational support team from Boston is deployed and a tanker truck with 7500 gallons of gasoline and 1500 gallons of diesel is already in the affected areas in Texas. They are helping countless victims. Additional trucks are on their way. With your donations we will be able to deploy more trucks and/or provide additional gallons of fuel to aid victims. The need for fuel becoming a life saving need!
Fuel is essential for immediate disaster relief to minimize loss of life and suffering. By providing fuel for emergency personnel and for generators we will affect the lives of thousands of people in dire need. In this manner we can help families anc communities to survive and rebuild.
