Behind every HIV diagnosis is a young person with dreams, abilities, and hopes for the future. Unfortunately, stigma, fear, isolation, and misinformation can make it difficult for many young people to see beyond their diagnosis.
The Girl Child Foundation Uganda is committed to ensuring that vulnerable young people receive the emotional and social support they need. Through counseling, peer-support groups, life-skills training, HIV awareness, and referrals to health services, we help young people regain confidence and develop resilience.
Our counselors and peer supporters provide compassionate spaces where participants can express their concerns and receive encouragement. We also work with families and communities to strengthen understanding and reduce discrimination.
With the generosity of donors and partners, we can expand these services and reach more young people who need hope and guidance.
Your support can help a young person feel heard, accepted, and empowered. Together, we can ensure that living with HIV/AIDS does not prevent young people from pursuing education, building meaningful careers, and creating brighter futures.
