Summary

Every day, dozens of stray animals in the Talgar region suffer from hunger, diseases, and cruelty. They can also attack children, making the problem even more acute. Our mission is to reduce the number of stray animals through sterilization, rabies vaccinations, rescue, and finding them new owners. We also educate the population on safety and compassion. Your support will help humanely control their population and improve living conditions for all.

Challenge

In the Talgar region, stray animals suffer from hunger, diseases, and abuse. They also pose a danger to people, especially children, due to potential attacks. Statistics over the past two years show 730 animal bites in 2023, with 350 involving children, and 680 bites in 2024, with 300 involving children. The problem is worsened by the lack of population control and insufficient public awareness of safe and humane methods of dealing with them.

Solution

Our project is aimed at reducing the number of stray animals through sterilization and castration, rabies vaccinations, and rescue operations. We are also actively working on finding new owners for rescued animals, which will help prevent their return to the streets. Additionally, we conduct informational campaigns to raise public awareness about safety and compassion towards animals, which will help prevent cruelty and improve living conditions for both animals and people.

Long-Term Impact

"The long-term impact of our project will include humane and effective management of the stray animal population, leading to a reduction in the number of attacks and an improvement in public health. Educating the population about safe and humane methods of interacting with animals will help foster a culture of compassion and responsibility. As a result, the living conditions for both animals and people will improve, creating a safer and more harmonious society.
