4028 Case Management Services were provided to 386 Case Management Clients

Our case management phone line is open 24/7 to field calls from prostituted youth who require rescue, immediate relocation, clothing, food, medical services, emergency housing for starters.

Elizabeth left home when she was 16.

She was abused by her father, and her

mother refused to defend her.

She was prostituting in the San Fernando Valley to earn money for a place to sleep and food.

She was couch surfing, staying with friends, and stayed with whoever let her spend the night.

Elizabeth, now 19, called to inquire about

our tutoring program.

Case Manager, Karla, reminded Elizabeth

our tutoring program is one on one.

There is no embarrassment in front of peers and if she commits,

our tutors promise she will pass the

high school equivalency exam.

We sent her school supplies, and she

began her tutoring lessons.

She was excited after her first tutoring lesson; and she called her social worker and raved about the kindness and support she received from a Children of the Night tutor.

We sent the monthly Academic Progress Report to her Social Worker.

The social worker told us her offices had tried so many programs for Elizabeth, but

it never worked out.

Elizabeth will be ready to test for the

High School Equivalency Test (GED) in

just a few short weeks.

With Elizabeth’s new attitude,

she is excited to search for a better job and is working with Case Managers to develop her resume, create an account on indeed,

to search for a better job.

Elizabeth is already talking about

going to college.

She wants to study criminal law and help people like her who have lost all hope.

We are working on her college plan,

financial aid, and scholarships.

Elizabeth is not the exception, she represents the youth we serve, and our staff is

dependable, skilled, and caring.
